The Promoter

The Promoter of this Promotion is Trend Tool Technology Ltd, Unit 6, Odhams Trading Estate, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD24 7TR and the Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.

Entry Eligibility

This competition is run by Trend Tool Technology Ltd. The competition is open to residents of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Any participants must be aged 18 years or over, and, if they are a winner, must provide photographic evidence of their passport or driving license, that verifies their age.

Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of their group companies, or their families or households, or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible to enter.

How To Enter & The Deadline For Entries

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. The competition will be run only at the D & M Tool Show 2022. If entering, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Only one entry will be accepted per person, irrespective of the amount spent. E.g. Spending £300 does not entitle the entrant to pick 3 squares. The closing time for entries is 4pm on the 9th October 2022. The competition is limited to the first 100 people who spend £100 or more on Trend products each day of the D & M Tool Show 2022. Entries received after this time will not be eligible for entry.

Entries must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm or entity, and must not in any other way violate applicable laws and regulations or network standards.

No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged entries and/or damage to data which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.

The Rules of the Competition and How to Enter are as Follows:

The competition is open to attendees of the D & M Tool Show 2022. To Enter, simply spend £100 or more on Trend products. The entrant will then be invited to pick an available square on the Take-a-Plunge matrix. A Trend employee will then rout a hole in that square which will reveal, in the case of a winning square, a colour denoting the prize. Non-winning squares will reveal no colour and a hole will simply be routed in the board, rendering the square ‘unavailable’. For winners to qualify for the prize, they MUST show proof of purchase.  By entering the competition, you agree that the entry details may be displayed on our website, emails and our social media platforms.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

THE PRIZES AND WINNERS  SELECTION

The Prizes are as Follows:

The green prize is T18S/R14K2 - 1/4” Router with 2 x 4Ah batteries & 6A Fast Charger

The gold/yellow prize is a STEALTH/ML - Air Stealth PPE mask

There is one green prize and nineteen gold/yellow prizes available per day of the show

Prizes may go unclaimed if the correct position is not selected.

The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

The winners will be confirmed by Trend. Any person with a winning entry will be notified by email within 28 days of the end of the show. Prizes will not be handed out during the show. If they cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. Trend Tool Technology will notify the winner when and where the prize can be delivered. Delivery will be within the UK only. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

This Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By participating the participants agree that any and all disputes regarding this Promotion will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English court

The prizes are only available to be won by residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and Northern Ireland.

In the event that a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize in the time required the winner shall forfeit their prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to any other participant of the Promotion in accordance with promotion terms and conditions, above.

The prize is not for re-sale nor is it transferable to another individual. If a winner does not wish to retain their prize, the prize must be returned to the Promoter and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another participant in accordance promotion terms and conditions, above. No compensation will be given in such circumstances.

Privacy And Data Protection

The winners agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Trend Tool Technology and not to any other party.

The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to disqualify participants who it considers not to have complied with any of these terms and conditions or, any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.

The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims and entries including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age and other relevant details of a participant and before accepting a claim or entry as being valid.
