How is the Z-axis zero defined? Is there a tool length sensor available?
The Z-axis finds its home position with the limit switch hidden underneath the top of the spindle cage please see the attached photo for reference:
Once a tool bit has been loaded into the spindle the user will then define the distance between the bottom of the tool bit and the material base using the Z0 function on the CAD/CAM app and the probe plate.
